Volunteer

Welcome to First Academy-Leesburg, accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Cognia. We are committed to providing a Christian worldview and a college preparatory program to students living in Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties. Furthermore, First Academy-Leesburg is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and Sunshine State Athletic Association (SSAA). Additionally, a number of clubs and organizations exist which allow students to engage in leadership and service activities.

We love our volunteers! Whether you’re a parent, guardian, or community member, your time makes a big difference – thank you!

Parent Volunteer/Eagle Hour Requirements

Family Obligation:

  • Each family must complete 20 Parent Eagle Hours (Volunteer Hours) per school year.

  • If your student participates in athletics or theater, your family must complete an additional 15 hours.

Eagle Hour Credit for Purchases:

  • Receipt required for any item(s) purchased.

  • For pre-approved items: $20 = 1 hour (2025–2026 school year).

  • Parent Eagle Hour Forms must be completed by parent or guardian and turned in within one week of service.
